The portal allows access to critical information and functionality, yet it is only protected by a username/password login that is vulnerable to brute force password guessing and password powned attacks. It needs to be possible to authenticate users on the Cloud Native portal with 2FA in the same way as vCloud.

When creating support tickets, I am not currently able to add screenshots to show the issue. Can you please add this feature?

    Hello,

When you have several vms performing the same role for high availability it's ideal that they don't share the same resources. For example, if all vms of the same role are on the same ESXi host and that host fails then that role is unavailable. It's possible to get these configured through a support request but it's not currently possible to check the current config or modify the setup as this is done in vCenter and not vCloudDirector.

As a customer it would be great to have visibility and control of these settings without having to raise a support request.

    Many thanks,

    Julian.

It would be very useful if we had the option to check any vSheild Edge firewall log

When responding to an outage there needs to be better monitoring and response for us to be aware of what is happening and when.

There are a lot of notifications on the Portal which is great, but I would like a way to mark all notifications as read so I do not keep reading the same ones!

Currently your status page : http://status.skyscapecloud.com/ is very slow to update to reflect service outages.

A perfect example is today (28th July 2016), for a while now I've been experiencing issues trying to manage my VMs and edge gateway through both the console and via API.

I've just noticed, when I tried logging in again that you now have a banner reporting the following fault :

    ' Platform Issue: Compute - vCloud Director in all Assured availability zones (AC1, AC2, AC3, AF1, AF2, AF3, AE1)'

Unfortunately according to http://status.skyscapecloud.com/ - your service is 100% up and available - something that is clearly not true.

If the status page is never going to be updated, it should be removed - currently its just confusing to know whats going on without contacting your support team.

    Hi guys,
Currently when a new IPSec tunnel needs to be created between UKCloud vDC and eg. remote office there are 2 things to do:
    1. Create the VPN in vEdge and the corresponding end at remote firewall
    2. Amend the vEdge gateway settings using vCloud API to update the external IP address of vEdge which vCloud changes automatically when initial config is saved. This is due to a BUG.

You have a knowledge base articule about this: https://portal.skyscapecloud.com/support/knowledge_centre/bc067168-fb2f-4f8a-93c6-998856d7403b
I don't know if you are aware how frustraing it is to actually go through the pain of manually updating the setting using the API every time a VPN is created.

As we were informed in one of the tickets raised about this issue about 2 years ago You were waiting for VMWare to provide a patch for the issue. 2 years later and it's still not fixed.

Why can't you create an item on the portal under eg. Compute menu where the setting of IPSec gateways could be modified.
Rather than asking your customers to fix something that is currently broken due to the way you designed the network you should provide an easy and quick way of fixing it and not ask customers to follow the painful procedure of using the vCloud API to fix your BUG.

When are you going to allow the self provisioning of vDCs? This would significantly speed up the delivery time to our customers

Currently there is no way to find out if Zerto SLA is being met except to actually log into the portal and check.  I would like to see either some form of active alerting by UKCloud that will push out emails should SLA not be met or provide some kind of API that we can then query from our own monitoring systems to determine the SLA status and perhaps RTO status.
