Could an option be added to buy Microsoft licences with support, whilst also keeping the existing licence only option?

This option would entitle customers to raise cases with Microsoft support for OS or Application issues.

Service credits should be automatically forthcoming based on the curent status of an MI.  The service credit for a service should stat as soon as the MI is called and end as soon as the MI is resolved.

In addition, a rolling 12 month average uptime for each service should be prominently displayed and if that dips below a certain level then service credits should apply.

The end customer should not have to apply for the service credits nor be subject to arbitrary deadlines.

It would be useful to be able to reopen a ticket, if in the view of the customer it has not been resolved.

Tickets can be closed by agents without the agreement of the customer - if the customer has anything to add then (I assume) we need to start a new ticket which is frustrating. If I have misunderstoof the process then please let me know!

    Thanks.

When I file a support ticket on the POrtal, I receive e-mails everytime the ticket is updated but the subject of the e-mail is always something like this:

    Subject: REQ1012231 Status Update: Updated

If I have multiple tickets open, I have no idea which one got updated. It would be nice if the e-mail subject would contain the ticket title together with the number:

Subject: OS customization doesn't work on CentOS 7 (REQ1012231)

To be able to interact with the VMware console, I need to maintain an unsecure version of firefox.

Please provide a bundled standalone browser for Windows and Linux, so I can use the portal fully while using the latest browsers for my other duties.

We're probably not alone here in having Escrow terms linked to the contracts we hold. Now, it's all well and good us lodging code with the likes of NCC but, with the best will in the world, it'd take someone coming in cold a while to set things up from scratch. What would be really nice for our customers would be if UKC could offer some form of service escrow capability. I'm thinking along the lines of your customers lodging whatever credentials are required to access and manage their service with you in a secure envelope (digital or otherwise) with you providing a commitment that if a customer were to vanish overnight you'd keep the lights on for {period to be specified}. Open to a variety of funding models here - insurance backed, bond backed, monthly bolt on that you carry the risk for...  up to you.

I understand from the GC9 service scope, there are a number of "sizes" available for VMs and that if CPU, RAM or disk space is changed to a certain level then the VM is charged at that level.

Would it be possible to expose in the portal a list of VMs and their BILLED size and a list of attributes that are out of scope for the size, e.g. if we can make increases to CPU, RAM or storage while still being in the same size band.

If there was a way to automatically "remediate" VMs so that all aspects meet the correct level, that would be even better.

Currently we have a number of VMs at various sizes.  We would like to see a customer facing portal that extracts usage metrics from vCloud Director and presents them as charts showing usage of each VMs CPU and RAM against 95% and 100% of the teired value.

Part of this feature would be a recommendation that the VM is reporivisioned at the next highest SKU and there would be a 1 click macro that would either do this or send an email to an AM for further discussion and consideration.

Another angle to consider would be a flex model whereby a VM is given a range of parameters where it can flex RAM and CPU between these values at certain times e.g. Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm the VM can flex rom 1vcpu to 4vcpu and from 4gb to 16gb RAM.  I am not sure how feasible this would be especially where Windows VMs are concerned.

We currently can't get any metrics on our N3 usage. This is a problem, as NHSD are asking us capacity management questions we can't answer....
